Virtual invites that remind you of fine stationery with Paperless Post
Paperless Post is an online company that allows you to send virtual evites that are absolutely beautiful. Â It reminds me of going to Crane & Company or one of the Paper Panache stores in San Francisco. Â I used to love love love stationery and fine paper. Â Early on in life, I worked for several individuals that were very formal from their embossed notecards to their executive stationery. Â My family always bought me stationery for the holidays or my birthday because I used to love to write letters. Â I still send out cards every now and again but, with email have lost that ability to stand the wait that it takes for a letter to arrive to send most things out via post. Â I’m not even sure that I have a stamp that is current and honestly….not even sure what a stamp costs now a days.
Once you view the note or invitation you click and go to your formal RSVP card which then tracks responses in your account. Â Pretty nifty and much nicer looking than Evite (oops sorry Evite but I’m not a huge fan).
These beautiful invites and notes definitely brought me back and give me an options for something very nice, a little different and so pretty I can almost smell the paper.
It’s nice to get thanks…
I am just about done with Nancy Gordon and The Gordon Group, LLC’s (Nancy…you’re the expert and I hope I got the punctuation correct) website. We launched yesterday and her first post on the re-launched site was a very nice thank you and referral to me.
It is so nice when people do say Thank You. I still working on a little blog piece on all the games on Facebook but one thing for sure is that most of the games made me feel is good about all the “thanks” and the “rewards” and the “collecting the money” and visiting “your friends” or “neighbors”. Real life doesn’t always give you that “warm and fuzzy” feeling so it’s can feel really nice to get it someplace, even if it’s virtually.
On that note, do check out The Gordon Group, LLC at www.thegordongroupllc.com.

Am I a Google ho?
Sometimes I feel (and sound) like I have a “hard-on” (figuratively speaking) for Google. I gush about Chrome, well because I do really favor it as my current “flavor of browser” right now although I am known to take booty calls from my ex, Firefox. And IE, Internet Explorer, is like my ex-husband, I just want to run it over with a Range Rover and unfortunately I just can’t get away from and I still have to deal with IE constantly when designing.
I am very excited about the potential of Google’s OS and even though I haven’t made the jump to Windows 7 (I cower like a puppy that’s been beaten when thinking about new Windows releases), I have been hearing good things (read “Windows 7 Reaches 10 Perfect Market Share“).
Spotted on the Chronium site are concept images of a potential Google Tablet.
My screen problem is worse than my shoe problem ever was
I love my little Acer Aspire One but I also like lots and lots and lots of screens (I still want my Triple-Screens) but the multi screen laptop apparently is coming.  GScreen’s Dual-Screen Spacebook they expect to weigh at least 12 pounds and is built around the 15.4 inch screen and its twin, identically sized screen slides out from behind the first using a uniquely designed sliding mechanism.  I guess IBM already has one but it’s just a 10″ addition, which you would think would make any girl happy…but NOT ME!
Not very pretty is it?
Online Slideshow Tool – Slideroll
Slideshow at Slideroll – Flash Slideshow Creator, Photo Slideshows for MySpace, YouTube, and Everywhere! is a pretty cool tool. Â They also have some additional tools, Slideroll gallery AV software for making flsh photo and video galleries and Slideroll Video Creator that turns your slideshows into video for CDs or DVD projects.
This is a pretty neat tool and resource for making quick embeddable slideshows for the web. Â Everything from music, to transitions, etc.
There is a member gallery page with comments and sharing options.
